A group of hackers Anonymous has conducted a powerful cyber attack on Russia’s IT infrastructure. As a result, more than 65 terabytes of data went, and the network itself “lay down”, according to Anonymous on Twitter.
“Powerful cyber attack on Russian civil aviation control servers: no more data and no backup,” the statement said.
Russian mass media wrote about this cyber attack, which took place on March 26. The network failed, all documents, mail, files on the servers disappeared.
In total, it is about 65 terabytes of data, and all emails have been lost in a year and a half.
According to RosZMI, no one made backup copies of the data, as the Ministry of Finance did not provide funds for this. The prosecutor’s office and the FSB have been investigating Rosaviatsia’s IT infrastructure since the cyber attack.
Earlier, Anonymous hackers hacked the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and “merged” data into the Web. It’s about 28 GB of data.
